This is the strapline that Paul seeks to live up to in life and ministry. From a family of 9 (three brothers and three sisters), Paul gave his life to Christ at the age of 17 at a youth camp in Devon, England. As such he understands the value of reaching a generation that is absent from many of our churches today, and engaging them with the call and commission of Christ.
Paul's working background was in market research, a crucial training in understanding the changing currents in UK culture today and how the church can relate the Gospel to them. He likes the ‘morph’ analogy: changing shape to suit the context, but keeping the content the same.
Over the last ten years, Paul has enjoyed a rich mix of church-based ministry at Christ Church, Harrow, and more recently at St Mary’s, Old Harlow alongside his work facilitating the growth of Radstock Ministries’ international networks.
Paul's thinking about what it means to be church today has been substantially influenced by his involvement with the New Wine and Radstock networks, and with various currents seeking to connect the church with post-modern culture. He subscribes to the Evangelical Alliance basis of faith.
Paul is single, loves the company of his friends, speaks Russian, and enjoys travelling, mushy peas, walking, cycling, and has recently defected from PC to Mac!
